Hotel Portonovo Plaza Centro, Guadalajara

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were a bit cramped for four people, but they were clean and had a large closet. The air conditioning worked excellently. The noise from other guests, however, made it feel like a zoo, with loud laughing, yelling, and slamming doors until the early hours of the morning. On the bright side, the service was exceptional, with staff members going above and beyond to be helpful and pleasant, though there were some instances of unorganized and slow service. The location was convenient, being quite close to the downtown area, but it did have a slight downtown feel and an occasional sewage smell. The hotel dining options were basic but met my expectations for the price, with a simple breakfast available. Overall, the hotel had its positives and negatives, making for an interesting experience.
